La Chiquita Completion

ORLANDO, FL – La Chiquita now has their first facility in Florida, as ARCO / Murray recently completed their 85,000 SF renovation of an existing warehouse into a tortilla production facility.  The facility allows La Chiquita to better serve their customers, including Tijuana Flats, Burger King, and McDonalds.

The project consisted of a 6,500 SF Freezer addition (-10 degree F), 3,500 SF Cooler addition (40 degree F), 38,000 SF Production Area renovation, 24,000 SF Warehouse renovation, and 13,000 SF Office.  The project also included adding process utilities and electrical service to serve production lines, adding HVAC systems throughout the production area, and upgrading dock positions to accommodate shipping needs.
