SUPPORTING THE HALO 5K 2018

The H.A.L.O. Foundation held their 4th annual 5k Race on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida. This event supports Angels Unaware, a non-profit, charitable organization that operates eight group homes in Hillsborough County for developmentally disabled adults. This year there were over 200 runners, a canned food drive, over a dozen sponsors, and several vendors on site the day of the race. The grand prize winners received handmade stained glassed plaques made by a local artist. In an amazing upset, a nine year old girl beat all but 3 runners! Congratulations to all the runners and volunteers who came out to participate in this great event.
